Villi Varu Island Resort
Introduction
Villivaru is a smaller, quieter version of its sister island "Biyadhoo". Like Biyadhoo it has many fine palms, a good
beach and a great location (as well as facilities) for diving. It is also "Child Friendly". Although there is lush
vegetation throughout the island, as with Biyadoo most of it is out of bounds for guests. They are restricted to
either side of a path that goes around the outside only. On the other hand, all the rooms are set back ten to
fifteen meters from the beach and in between is a lovely area of sand under the shade of tall palms. Hammocks are
well placed around the island.

Both resorts have a full-fledged PADI certified Five Star IDC Diving School - "Jurgen Schaegger's Diving World".
It is owned and operated by Mariana Pvt. Ltd., a reputed German organisation staffed with certified multi lingual
(English, German, Italian, French and Japanese) instructors who conduct classes for beginners, advanced level and
instructors. At Villi Varu Island Resort they also run a Water-sports Centre that offer a wide range of water sports - Diving, Windsurfing,
Catamaran Sailing, Parasailing, Snorkelling trips, etc.

"Ayurtheeram", the Herbal Health and Yoga Centre located in the Club House at Biyadoo is claimed to be the "one and only" of its
kind in the Maldives. It offers herbal oil massage therapy based on 'Ayurveda' the ancient system of medicine of
India. It promotes better blood circulation, relaxation of the muscles and bestows a soothing effect on the nervous
