Introduction
As you approach Soneva Fushi by air, the unfolding panorama is breathtaking; sand-fringed atolls in turquoise sea
give way to brilliant coral reefs protected by lagoons. Opened in 1995, Soneva Fushi resort and spa sits on its own private island,
the largest given for tourism in the Maldives and is the first resort in the Baa Atoll region. Nature walks to
secluded picnic spots impart a Robinson Crusoe mood.

privately owned, uninhibited tropical paradise island of Kunfunadhoo. Soneva Fushi is situated in the Baa Atoll, north
of Malé Atoll. There are 19 atolls that stretch over 800 km made up of the 1,190 islands which are the Maldives.
